FIELD: paper-making.
SUBSTANCE: method can be used to determine the quality characteristics of the paper web during its control during the production process. The method includes illumination for irradiation in a constant glow mode, as well as lower illumination for lumen and upper illumination for reflection in the pulse mode. The image is created by a linear camera, which alternately contains a line for recording the secondary radiation, a line for recording the sum of the secondary radiation and the radiation from the illumination to the lumen, as well as a third line for recording the sum of the secondary radiation and reflection. In the control computing device, the lines received by the secondary radiation are assigned to the first image, the lines of the sum of the lumen and secondary radiation are assigned to the second image, and the lines of the sum of the reflection and secondary radiation are assigned to the third image, with the preliminary deduction of the line of secondary radiation from one resolution range. Subsequent signal processing is performed in order to form a continuous image of the web scan for each illumination.
EFFECT: elimination of the influence of afterglow from secondary radiation on the quality of images of the web lines from pulsed illuminations on the lumen and reflection.
