FIELD: veterinary biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to veterinary biotechnology and concerns the use of a strain of porcine circovirus type 2 for the production of preventive and diagnostic drugs used in research institutes and enterprises of the biological industry in the design of biological products, in particular vaccines against porcine circovirus type 2. The invention is a method for producing a vaccine against porcine circovirus, including obtaining a virus-containing material from a virus strain and mixing it with an adjuvant. The vaccine contains a virus-containing material from the “PCV2/SHBC” strain with an infectious activity of 4.0-7.0 lg TCID50/cm3 as a virus-containing material, which is inactivated before mixing with the adjuvant by adding 4-5% aminoethylethylenimine solution to a final concentration of 0.001 - 0.005% at a pH of 7.6-7.8 and a temperature of 35-39ºC for 20-22 hours with periodic mixing. An oil adjuvant is used as an adjuvant, at a certain ratio of components, and for inactivation, a 4-5% solution of aminoethylethylenimine is added to the resulting composition to a final concentration of 0.001-0.005% at a pH of 7.6-7.8 and a temperature of 35-39ºC for 20-22 hours with periodic mixing followed by sterilization of the target product. Additionally, it contains a chitosan stabilizer at a certain ratio of components, and for inactivation, a 4-5% solution of aminoethylethylenimine is added to the resulting composition to a final concentration of 0.001-0.005% at a pH of 7.6-7.8 and a temperature of 35-39ºC for 20-22 hours with periodic mixing followed by sterilization of the target product. Also in the method of producing a vaccine against porcine circovirus, which includes producing a virus-containing material from a virus strain and an adjuvant and inactivating it, the oil adjuvant ISA 201 VG, or ISA 206 VG, or the oil adjuvant of All-Russian Research Institute for Animal Health (ARRIAH) is used as an adjuvant.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at improving target product quality by increasing its immunogenicity against porcine circovirus type 2.
