SUBSTANCE: invention relates to veterinary virology and biotechnology. Described is a vaccine containing an avirulent and purified concentrated antigen of the strain "O/ARRIAH/Mya-98", which is a suspension containing mainly 146S immunogenic component of foot-and-mouth disease virus, oil adjuvant Montanide ISA-71 R VG in effective ratios.
EFFECT: vaccine has high immunogenicity, is absolutely safe and is able to provide effective protection against a homologous infectious agent circulating in South American countries.
