SUBSTANCE: sequential device for detecting the boundaries of the range of single bits in a binary sequence is disclosed, containing external data input DI of the N-bit input sequence, output bus of the low-order number QUL, output bus of the high-order number QUM, and output bus of the range QUD containing M bits each, where M=]log2(N+1)[ (larger integer), first start-stop trigger TSS 1 and second trigger of the single bits TU 2, first element AND 3, second element AND 4 with one inverse input and element OR 5, first CTB bit counter 6 and second CTD range counter 7, first register of the high-order number 8, second register of the low-order number 9, and third register of the range 10, as well as the external inputs for asynchronous setting to the zero state CLR, starting the device START, stopping the device STOP, and clock input C.
EFFECT: providing possibility to identify the boundaries and dimensions of the range of single bits for a binary sequence.
