FIELD: packaging.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in the transportation, storage and sale of products, in the field of construction, in particular, for sealing construction joints, as well as for waterproofing foundations, roofs, underground parking lots, basements and other underground and ground parts of civil and industrial construction facilities, metro station complexes, automobile and railway tunnels, underground reservoirs, etc. The packaging unit contains a waterproofing key, made in the form of a tape profile with a variable cross-section thickness, and a cylindrical spool, in the working surface of which a hole is made. The waterproofing key is wound on the spool, while the part of the first turn of the tape profile, which has the largest cross-section, is placed in the hole made on the working surface of the spool.
EFFECT: technical result is the elimination of changes and deformations of the transverse profile of the waterproofing key during its storage and transportation.
