SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for producing ceramic refractories. A method for producing ceramic refractories, which consists in preparing a refractory ceramic mixture that contains the following components: a refractory main component, a binder in the form of silica, an alcohol component in the form of one or more polyatomic alcohols, and in which the silica is represented as a colloidal suspension of polysilicic acid in water, the mass ratio between the refractory main component and polysilicic acid is at least 10 and a maximum of 55, and polyatomic alcohols are presented in the form of one or more polyatomic alcohols from among the following: one or more diatomic alcohols or one or more triatomic alcohols; the mixture is heated to obtain a ceramic refractory.
EFFECT: reducing the risk of damage to the mixture or the ceramic refractory obtained from it by baking when it is dried or heated.
