FIELD: medical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: in the first variant, a stethoscope is disclosed equipped with a body, a diaphragm and a uniform annular axially adjustable suspension. The annular axially adjustable suspension is installed around the diaphragm on the inner side of the inner perimeter of the body. If necessary, a pressure liner made of reticulated foam with an annular suspension is sealed over the inner or outer diameter of the body, wherein the diaphragm constitutes a very thin foil, preferably made of copper to provide antimicrobial properties. In the second variant, a stethoscope is disclosed equipped with a body and a diaphragm with a flexible sealed chamber containing an incompressible liquid suspended in the body of the stethoscope. A pressure liner made of reticulated foam with an annular suspension is sealed over the inner or outer diameter of the body. If necessary, the diaphragm has a cover over the upper end of the suspended flexible sealed chamber, preferably made of copper to provide antimicrobial properties.
