FIELD: plate production.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method and device for the rejection of defective mineral fiber plates in the continuous production process of mineral fiber plates. The method includes stages on which a continuous flow of rows of a predetermined number of mineral fiber plates is provided on the first conveyor with the first direction of movement. At the same time, the detection of defects is ensured in each of the plates in a row; redirection of one or more defective plates to the second conveyor is provided for further processing and the remaining defect-free plates are transferred in a row to the third conveyor located downstream from the first conveyor and having a third direction of movement. If no defective plates are found in the row, the entire row is ensured to continue to move to the fourth conveyor and then to the fifth conveyor, both located downstream from the first conveyor and having the same direction of movement as the third conveyor; the reception of an incomplete row of defect-free plates from the third conveyor is provided on the buffer table and a complete row of defect-free plates received on the specified buffer table are arranged, and the transfer of the assembled complete row to the fifth conveyor is provided.

EFFECT: inventions are aimed at reducing the number of rejected plates to increase the volume of production.
