FIELD: processors.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to processors for conducting reactions of the polymerase chain reaction type. Proposed is a processor 30 for conducting the reaction, equipped with a vessel 10 for conducting the reaction wherein a channel 12, a system 37 for supplying a fluid, a temperature control system 32 for providing a high-temperature area and a low-temperature area in the channel 12, and a fluorescence detector 50 for detecting a sample 20 passing through the fluorescence detection area in the channel 12, and a central processor 36 for controlling the fluid supply system 37 based on the detected signal, are formed. The target position X[L]0(n + 1) of stopping the sample in the low-temperature area at the (n+1)th cycle is corrected relative to the target position X[L]0(n) of stopping the sample in the low-temperature area at the nth cycle based on the result of controlling stopping the sample 20 at the nth cycle.
EFFECT: provided technology capable of accurately stopping a sample at a specified point in a temperature area within the processor for conducting a reaction, capable of subjecting the sample to thermocycling by moving the sample in a reciprocating way within the channel wherein areas with different temperatures are formed.
