SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medical biotechnology. The invention is a cold-adapted strain "vZelVax" of herpes zoster virus, deposited in the State collection of viruses of the FSBI Research Institute of Virology named after Ivanovsky D.I. of the Ministry of Health and Social Development of Russia under the number 2936 of 03.03.2020, intended for obtaining a live cultural vaccine for the prevention and treatment of herpes zoster in the adult population.
EFFECT: creation of vaccines against herpes zoster.
