SUBSTANCE: invention relates to welding production and can be used to control the process of multilayer surfacing to obtain a product. The method includes dynamic control of the parameters of the surfacing mode to maintain the dimensions of the pool of molten metal at a given level and ensure the constancy of the size of the deposited beads, while in the surfacing process, the method of operational control is used in the algorithm for the numerical implementation of the solution of the thermal problem, numerical modeling of the required power values of the heat source is carried out depending on the time. The thermal fields are determined in the grown product at each time point of the simulated surfacing. The value of the controlled parameter is compared with the value of the setting value characterizing the pool of molten metal, the power value of the heat source is adjusted with minimizing the value of the mismatch between the value of the controlled parameter and the value of the setting value, and the obtained power values of the heat source are used for programmed control of the surfacing process of a full-scale product.

EFFECT: use of the invention makes it possible to improve the quality of manufacturing of welded products.
