FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of metallurgy, in particular to the production of large-sized multilayer panels made of foam aluminum. It can be used in light structures of the aerospace industry, communications and transport, in sound-absorbing structures in urban construction objects and engine deflectors, elements for preventing collisions of vehicles, chassis of armored vehicles. Uniform mixing of aluminum or aluminum alloy powders, silicon, copper, magnesium, zinc-copper-nickel alloy, foaming agent in the form of titanium powder hydride to obtain an inner layer powder is performed, containing, weight percentage: 5-10 Si, 1-8 Mg, 1-6 Cu, no more than 2 Zn, 0.5-2 foaming agent, the rest is Al. A tubular cavity with a width of 40-1200 mm and a wall thickness of 2-8 mm is formed from pipe or panel materials made of aluminum alloys of the 3000 series or 6000 series. The inner surface of the tubular cavity is washed sequentially with alkali, acid and water. The powder of the inner layer is placed in the cavity and it is sealed. Cold rolling is performed in 3-7 passes with the degree of compression at each pass is 3-8%. Sintering of billet materials is carried out at a temperature of 400-500°C for 1-5 hours, hot rolling of sintered blanks at an initial rolling temperature of 400-480°C, the finishing rolling temperature is 385-450°C and the total degree of compression is 40-70%. Then the hot-rolled panel blanks are heat-treated at 400-500°C for 1-5 hours, the edges are cut off and foaming is performed by heating to 570-620°C and holding for 15-60 minutes.
EFFECT: burning is prevented due to low-temperature foaming and the physical properties of the cover layer are improved.
