FIELD: biochemistry.
SUBSTANCE: biochip for sequencing DNA or RNA nucleic acids is disclosed, including: substrate including a set of discrete holes; gel-like material placed in each of discrete holes; a sequencing primer grafted on gel-like material; and a non-sequencing unit grafted on gel-like material and connected by means of a linker to a triplet state damper, antioxidant or a donor for fluorescent resonance energy transfer (FRET); where both the sequencing primer and the non-sequencing unit are in the form, in which they were grafted, where the non-sequencing unit is polyethylene glycol or PolyT, and where the sequencing primer and the non-sequencing unit are grafted by the exposure to substrate of a solution or solutions, in which a molar ratio of the non-sequencing unit to the sequencing primer is from 0.25:1 to 10:1. A method for producing the specified biochip is also disclosed.
EFFECT: group of inventions, due to the fact that the non-sequencing unit serves as a spacer between sequencing primers, provides the spatial separation of sequencing primers, which improves the amplification due to the limiting of steric complications in proteins involved in the amplification process.
