SUBSTANCE: usage: for degassing molten metals and removing impurities from molten metals. The substance of the invention is that the ultrasonic installation contains an ultrasonic measuring transducer; a probe attached to an ultrasonic measuring transducer, and the probe contains a tip; and a gas supply system, and the gas supply system contains: gas inlet, gas passage through the probe and gas outlet at the tip of the probe; and the probe consists of ceramics.
EFFECT: providing the possibility of creating a device for degassing molten metals and removing impurities from molten metals that can withstand the increased temperatures present in the molten metal bath, as well as having a longer service life and limited or no chemical activity when interacting with a specific molten metal.
