FIELD: continuous casting of metal.
SUBSTANCE: foundry plant (2) comprises casting wheel (30) with metal element (32) containing metal to be poured and device (34) for processing molten metal. Device (34) for processing comprises assembly (42) installed on casting wheel (30). Unit (42) comprises at least one oscillation energy source (40) and support device (44) holding oscillation energy source (40). Unit (42) comprises at least one channel (46) for cooling medium. Molten metal is placed in containing element, where it is cooled at introduction of oscillation energy into molten metal contained in containing element.
EFFECT: provides for grinding of grain of poured metal, increased rate of casting, increased resistance to formation of hot cracks, reduced liquation of chemical elements, improved mechanical properties, in particular plasticity, improved surface quality of articles after their pressure treatment, improved characteristics of mold filling and reduced porosity of cast alloys.
