Pneumatic tire (10) includes first main groove (11) in the tire circumference direction on the tire equatorial plane (CL) outer side, second main groove (12), which passes closer to the tire equatorial plane (CL), than the first main groove (11), third main groove (13) extending on inner side of tire equatorial plane (CL), fourth main groove (14) passing further from tire equatorial plane (CL) than third main groove (13). Ratio between groove width G1 of first main groove, groove width G3 of third main groove and groove width G4 of fourth main groove satisfies equality 1.05≤G1/G3≤1.25; 1.10≤G4/G3≤1.30 and G3<G1<G4.

EFFECT: increased stability of steering on dry and wet road surfaces, as well as improved noise characteristics.
