FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment articles, namely to implanted cardiac monitors. The dual-band antenna for an implanted cardiac monitor with a planar structure consists of a combination of an inverted F antenna with a monopole antenna in form of a rectangular meander. The antenna is made on a multilayer printed circuit board of the implanted cardiac monitor in form of a structure of three insulated conductive layers with metallised through holes. A small-sized antenna is provided, operating in two frequency ranges, with a shape and size determined by the small dimensions of the radio-transparent compartment for accommodation of the antenna.
EFFECT: inclusion of structural elements of the antenna in the composition of the multilayer printed circuit board of the cardiac monitor allows facilitating assembly thereof and increasing reliability due to elimination of an additional assembly unit.
