SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of signaling in the cab of a rail vehicle. The alarm system device (1; 1’; 1’’; 1’’’) contains the following components: a fault detection device (2) with the ability to detect a fault state (FZ1; FZ2; FZ3), an image memory (7) containing a series of images (S1; S2; S3;S4; S5) indicating the actual state of the vehicle (20), a first unit (5) selecting from images (S1; S2; S3; S4; S5) from the memory (7) depending on the detected fault state (FZ1; FZ2; FZ3) of the vehicle (20), the user interface (6) with the display unit (12a), the display control unit (8) for controlling the display unit (12a) so that an image (S1; S2; S3; S4; S5) is displayed on the display unit (12a), selected depending on the detected fault condition (FZ1; FZ2; FZg).
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to display diagnostic information or the actual condition of the vehicle, taking into account the physical conditions of perception and the receptivity of the driver.
