FIELD: basic electric elements.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to making a working electrode on a sensor substrate. Layer of sensor material is applied on the first side of the sensor substrate. Sensor material covers at least one conductive path. Layer of sensor material is irradiated with a laser beam. First part of the sensor material layer is then partially removed, and at least the second part of the sensor material, which covers at least one conductive track, is stored on the first side of the sensor substrate to obtain a working electrode on the sensor substrate. Membrane layer is applied. Membrane layer covers the working electrode. Membrane layer contains a cross-linking agent for cross-linking the sensor material. Diffusion step is carried out, at which the cross-linking agent contained in the membrane layer partially diffuses into the sensor material.
EFFECT: as a result, a homogeneous structure of the sensor material on the working electrode is provided, thereby eliminating or reducing the need for detailed monitoring and accurate selection of production parameters of the sensor material.
