FIELD: medicine, namely radiology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, in particular radiology, and can be used for low-dose scanning of the chest organs adapted to the weight of the human body. The patient is scanned when the patient is lying on their back with the hands raised to the head, while holding the breath at the depth of inhalation. The length of the scan is provided from the tops of the lungs to the pulmonary sinuses. The current strength on the tube (mA) is 10 mA. At the same time, the voltage on the tube (kv) is set at the level of 100 kV when the patient weighs less than 90 kg. If the patient weighs more than 90 kg, but less than 120 kg, the voltage on the tube is set at 120 kV. If the patient weighs more than 120 kg, the voltage on the tube is set at 140 kV. A computed tomographic dose index (CTDI) of 1.0 mGy is established. The rotation speed of the tube is set to 0.4 s. Data is reconstructed using a model iterative reconstruction with an iteration level of IMR 2. The Y-Sharp Plus filter is installed.
EFFECT: method provides low-dose scanning of the chest organs, adapted to the patient's body weight, through the use of model iterative reconstructions.
