FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to roentgenology, oncology and pulmonology, and can be used as a screening method of lung cancer. Method for screening lung cancer using ultra-low-dose computer tomography in patients with body weight of more than 90 kg, comprising steps of scanning on a patient's back position with arms drawn to the head, scanning is performed with respiratory arrest at inhalation depth, scanning length is determined from apexes of lungs to pulmonary sinuses, and filter is installed for lung examination. Voltage is set on tube (kv) 135 kV, current is set on tube (mA) 25 mA, computer-tomographic dose index (CTDI) 1.2 mGy is set, rate of rotation of tube (Time rotation) is 0.45 s.
EFFECT: using the given invention enables reducing the dose of the radiation load on the patient when obtaining computed tomography images of the thoracic cavity organs in the patients weighing over 90 kg without algorithms of the interactive reconstructions.
