FIELD: medicine; laboratory diagnostics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine and laboratory diagnostics, namely to a device for diagnosing body fluids containing: a) an upper case including an upper main chamber for collecting fluid, and a temporary chamber connected by free flow to the upper main chamber before the start of the diagnostic stage; b) a lower case including a diagnostic chamber containing at least one diagnostic test strip made with the possibility to react with a substance or composition of body fluid, while the upper case is made with the possibility to slide vertically towards the above-mentioned lower case for the start of the diagnostic stage; and c) a valve for clogging the fluid connection between the temporary chamber and the diagnostic chamber before the start of the diagnostic stage, and between the temporary chamber and the upper main chamber when the diagnostic stage begins; the lower case additionally contains a lower chamber located under the diagnostic chamber, and the flow rate between the diagnostic chamber and the lower chamber is regulated by a flow controller, which is a hole or passage and which is suitable for limiting the time of fluid distribution along the entire length of the diagnostic test strip to a period of time not exceeding 7 seconds.
EFFECT: invention provides more hygienic working conditions, as well as achieving the optimal contact time of the test strip with the biological fluid.
