FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in submerged arc surfacing to restore worn parts and obtain a wear-resistant protective coating for metallurgical equipment parts operating under compression and abrasive wear at temperatures of 670-750°C. The flux-cored wire consists of a steel sheath and a powdery charge with the following ratio of components, wt.%: ferromanganese 0.51-1.18, ferrosilicon 1.0-1.90, ferrochrome 6.0-8.7, ferromolybdenum 0.9-1.45, ferrovanadium 0.01-0.80, titanium 0.3-0.8, carbon-fluorine-containing dust of filters of aluminum production 0.70-1.15, iron powder - the rest.
EFFECT: optimization of the chemical composition of the charge provides an increase in the hardness and wear resistance of the deposited metal, allows reducing its gas saturation.
