A method is proposed that includes monitoring whether the information about the restriction of a part of the network frequency band from the cell is accepted, taking into account the mentioned information about the restriction and the capabilities of the terminal when deciding whether a part of the terminal frequency band is supported if the information about the restriction is accepted. At the same time, the communication device ensures that the terminal's access to the cell is prohibited if the restriction of one or more parts of the frequency band is not in agreement with the capabilities of the terminal.
