FIELD: tobacco industry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method or device (10) for corrugating material sheet (70). The device contains a transport device for transporting the material sheet along transportation direction (1) and a set of corrugating rollers (11, 21). The set contains first (11) and second (21) main corrugating rollers defining first (18) and second (28) axes of rotation and located in front of each other, wherein the first roller containing the first set of ridges (17) on part of its width (16), and the second roller contains the second set of ridges (27) on part of its width; and a pre-corrugating roller facing the first roller and having the third set of ridges on part of its width, while the pre-corrugating roller has a diameter that is less than the diameter of the first and the second main rollers.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to obtain a device for corrugating a material sheet, using which it is possible to obtain an improved consistency in the final product compared to analogues, in particular when using high corrugation speeds.
