SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a system for determining the effect of active substance on an infant. The system and the corresponding method intended for determining the effect of active substance on the infant contains: a unit for issuing parameters for issuing data on the age and weight of the infant, a unit for assessing consumption for assessing the amount of consumption of active substance by the person breastfeeding the infant, a unit for determining a substance level for determining the level of active substance in breast milk during breastfeeding based on the history of assessed consumption of active substance, and a unit for determining exposure for determining the effect of active substance on the infant based on i) a certain level of active substance in breast milk at the time of breastfeeding and/or milk extraction and ii) the age and weight of the infant.

EFFECT: system provides more rapid opportunity to determine the effect of active substance on the infant.
