FIELD: medicine; oncology.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of medicine, namely to oncology, it is intended for the treatment of cancer. The composition for the treatment of cancer includes (I) at least one selected from a group consisting of: a) a peptide containing a domain binding a tumor-associated carbohydrate antigen (hereinafter – TACA) derived from lectin, and a domain for immune cell recognition that specifically binds to a receptor on an immune effector cell; and b) an isolated nucleic acid molecule encoding a peptide containing a TACA-binding domain derived from lectin and a domain for immune cell recognition that specifically binds to a receptor on an immune effector cell; and (II) a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. The TACA-binding domain specifically binds to the TACA of the tumor cell and the TACA-binding domain contains an amino acid sequence having at least 90% homology with SEQ ID NO 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 or 7. Lectin and immune effector cell are selected from the claimed groups. A fused peptide for treatment and an isolated nucleic acid molecule encoding the specified fused peptide are also presented.
EFFECT: use of a group of inventions makes it possible to increase the efficiency of cancer treatment.
