SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine and is intended for predicting the risk of development of preeclampsia in pregnant women with fetal growth restriction syndrome, native to the Central Black Earth region, with Russian ethnic origin and without a family history of preeclampsia. DNA is isolated from peripheral venous blood. The polymorphism of the platelet glycoprotein IIIa (ITGB3) gene is analysed. A high risk of development of preeclampsia is predicted if the allele С of the polymorphic locus rs5918 of the ITGB3 gene is detected.
EFFECT: ensures development of criteria for assessing the risk of development of preeclampsia in pregnant women with fetal growth restriction, with Russian ethnic origin, native to the Central Black Earth region, without a family history of preeclampsia.
