FIELD: medicine; medical diagnostics.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to predict the risk of developing preeclampsia in pregnant women of Russian nationality with fetal growth restriction based on molecular genetic testing. DNA from the peripheral venous blood is isolated. The analysis of rs1799945 polymorphic variant of HFE gene and rs805303 polymorphic variant of BAG6 gene is performed. When CG haplotype of rs1799945-rs805303 haploblock of the HFE/BAG6 genes is identified, a high risk of developing preeclampsia is predicted.
EFFECT: method provides new criteria for assessing the risk of developing preeclampsia in pregnant women of Russian nationality with fetal growth restriction based on data on the CG haplotype of rs1799945-rs805303 haploblock of HFE/BAG6 genes.
