FIELD: mechanical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of mechanical engineering and can be used in manufacture of four-stroke internal combustion engines. Proposed if a four-stroke engine with adjustable filling of the power cylinder and compression ratio of the fuel mixture, comprising cylinders 1, wherein each cylinder is equipped with a piston 2 configured to move along the axis of the cylinder, a cylinder head 3 wherein a suction valve 4 and an exhaust valve 5 are mounted. The latter is equipped with a mechanical drive 6 and a check valve 7, additionally, the cylinder head 3 is also equipped with a fuel injection nozzle 8. The four-stroke engine is therein equipped with a mechanism for adjusting the filling of the power cylinder and the compression ratio, containing a mobile sleeve 9 installed in the cylinder head 3, articulated with a toothed rail 11. The movement of the latter, in turn, ensures the axial movement thereof during rotation of the sleeve 9. The sleeve 9 is therein connected with the thread of the boring located in the cylinder head 3 through slits with a thread 10 made on the outer side surface thereof. The toothed rail 11 is, in turn, kinematically connected with the control lever of the high-pressure fuel pump, upon rotation whereof in the direction of increasing the engine power, the volume of the combustion chamber 12 increases and the compression of the suction valve spring 13 decreases, and vice versa, thereby causing a change in the compression ratio of the fuel mixture.

EFFECT: increase in the efficiency coefficient of the four-stroke engine with adjustable filling of the power cylinder and compression ratio of the fuel mixture due to being equipped with a mechanism for adjusting the filling of the power cylinder and the compression ratio of the fuel mixture.
