SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to traumatology and orthopedics, and can be used to treat patients with para-capsular ruptures of the meniscus of the knee joint. The outside-inside technique is used. The non-absorbable thread is passed parallel to the rupture line from the tibial surface of the damaged meniscus fragment to the femoral one. Shuttle guiding loops are brought to the points of entry and exit of the thread on the surfaces of the meniscus through the thickness of the preserved fragment of the meniscus. The ends of the thread are grabbed and reversed out of the capsule parallel to the articular surfaces inside the preserved fragment of the meniscus. If necessary, the next thread is passed through 4-5 mm away. Reposition is achieved by pulling up the derived ends. Knots are tied outside the capsule.

EFFECT: method provides stable fixation of the damaged fragment while preserving the anatomical shape of the meniscus.
