FIELD: navigation systems.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods and systems for navigating persons and vehicles involved in search and rescue operations as a result of an emergency. According to a method for navigating objects in an emergency zone, objects are positioned relatively to portable navigation beacons by exchanging signals of these objects with navigation beacons, wherein the exchange of signals can be carried out in one of two ranges of electromagnetic radiation: infrared or radio wave. Objects with a tracked location, in addition to persons and vehicles involved in search and rescue operations, are objects that are detected during these operations and that affect the progress of their implementation. When forming routes of persons and vehicles involved in search and rescue operations, the location of objects that affect the progress of these works is taken into account. Objects with the tracked location are assigned indexes that are displayed on request on a digital map of the emergency zone. If necessary, they are moved to a new location or additional navigation beacons are placed.
EFFECT: increased reliability and noise immunity of the navigation system, increased reliability of information received about the emergency zone, which leads to increased efficiency of search and rescue operations.
