FIELD: measurement; navigation; monitoring and control of the movement of ships.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to develop technical systems and means of navigation, communication and control of objects of navigation. Essence: the ship navigation system contains a cable laid along the bottom, coastal equipment and ship equipment, and the system contains M fibre-optic cables laid along the bottom of the water area, each of which is equivalent to Kn vibroacoustic signal receivers connected to devices for recording and evaluating vibroacoustic effects, which are part of the subsystem for monitoring and managing navigation in the water area, which also includes a distributed database that provides storage of unique identification codes of ships, a navigation control device for ships, a device for displaying the navigational situation in the water area, a data transmission subsystem that provides interaction between the elements of the subsystem for monitoring and managing navigation in the water area, and also with ships whose shipboard equipment includes a shipboard data transmission subsystem and an identification and location subsystem, including a control device, a display device and at least four ex emitters of vibroacoustic signals operating at different frequencies, the signals of which are modulated by the unique identification code of the ship.
EFFECT: reducing time, increasing the accuracy and reliability of determining the coordinates and direction of movement of each ship, as well as the ability to determine the speed of ships when navigating in various conditions and environments, creating an updated database of individual identification features of ships, identifying ships, reducing system power consumption throughout its length, due to the use of spatially distributed transducers of hydroacoustic effects, represented by fibre-optic cables that do not require power supply.
