SUBSTANCE: disc brake for real-time monitoring of the cup spring force and the control method. The specified disc brake contains a brake disc (1), a brake pad assembly (2), a cup spring (3), a seat socket (4) for a cup spring, a clamping ring (5) for a disc spring and a hydraulic cylinder (6); between the seat socket (4) for the cup spring and the cup spring (3), a cup spring sensor (7) is provided, the external size of the cup spring sensor (7) is the same as that of the cup spring (3), an annular groove is made on two opposite end surfaces of the cup spring sensor (7); a set of strain gauges (7-1) arranged in pairs are provided in a groove on the end surface facing the seat socket (4) for the cup spring.

EFFECT: simplicity of design, the ability to monitor the fatigue of the cup spring in the operational mode.
