FIELD: poultry farming.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, in particular to poultry farming, and specifically to a method for raising quails to increase the meat productivity of poultry using a probiotic additive. The method provides for the cultivation of a strain of lactic acid bacteria Lactobacillus brevis B-13079 in a nutrient medium containing feed molasses, K2NPO4, yeast extract, powdered apple pectin and water, at specified amounts at a temperature of 37°C for 24 hours and is fed to poultry daily, 1 time a day at a dose of 0.25-1.0 ml per head. At the same time, into the nutrient medium at a temperature of 30-40°С, powdered apple pectin is added at the rate of 2.0-4.0 g/l.
EFFECT: increased productivity and safety of quails.
