FIELD: measuring.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for extending the operating life of amusement rides. The substance of the method for extending the operating life of amusement rides consists in evaluating the operating time of the amusement ride based on the record data thereof from the operating organisation, and if complete data on the operating time is absent, evaluating the operating life, evaluating the technical condition and the residual resource using non-destructive control methods, and making a decision on extending the operation of the amusement rides by the method for expert evaluations, using the method for statistical analysis of the operating time for past time intervals. The described result is achieved due to the fact that statistical analysis methods for recording the operating time of amusement rides, physical methods for non-destructive control during evaluation of the technical condition, fatigue strength analysis for evaluation of the residual resource, expert evaluation methods when issuing a decision on extension of the operation of the amusement ride, are applied in the method for extending the operating life of amusement rides.

EFFECT: technical result expected from the use of the invention is the possibility of a rationalised extension of the operation of amusement rides and an increase in the safety of the operation of amusement rides, including amusement rides with previously unrecorded operating time, due to the fact that key elements of the procedure for extending the operation of technical products, accounting for the features characteristic of amusement rides, such as: the "Evaluation of operating time" element, the "Evaluation of operating life" element, the "Evaluation of the technical condition" element, the "Evaluation of residual resource" element, are applied in the proposed method for extending the operating life of amusement rides.
