FIELD: cooling systems.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to equipment for cooling; it can be used in systems designed for direct directed beam inertia-free cooling of target objects. A laser cooling system contains a solid-state laser of infrared range and means that provide a directed effect of laser radiation generated by the solid-state laser of infrared range on the target object. As the solid-state laser of infrared range, a long-wave infrared laser with a radiation mode of more than 10 mcm is used, the radiation of which provides cooling of the target object.
EFFECT: invention contributes to the expansion of the arsenal of technical means for inertia-free cooling of target objects with increased accuracy relatively to spatial and temperature characteristics.
