FIELD: sealing elements.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sealed assemblies with a seal for a split connection of pipes, case parts, connections of valve-seat, ball-cone type, etc., operating under high pressure conditions; it is intended for parts sealing contacting surfaces. An assembly contains two parts with a seal mounted in one of them. The seal is a structure layered in meridian section containing at least two metal inserts on elastically deformable elements. Metal inserts have the possibility to move relatively to each other with the formation of sequential interaction with contact surfaces of sealed parts. Sealing is provided by at least two solid contact lines formed sequentially.

EFFECT: invention provides reliable sealing of the seal with repeated use under high pressure conditions.
