FIELD: airspace objects detection.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of object detection in airspace, and more specifically to multisensor methods for detecting unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) by measuring the acoustic velocity of particles together with radar measurements, and can be used in security systems to prevent unauthorized access of UAVs to a controlled area. In the claimed method, UAV radar signatures are received by measuring spectrograms of reflected electromagnetic waves with the Doppler effect and at the same time acoustic signatures of UAVs are received in the form of acoustic wave spectrograms by measuring the acoustic velocity of particles of acoustic waves with the Doppler effect. Then, the spectrograms of electromagnetic waves and acoustic waves are compared within an adjustable time interval, starting from a given starting moment of the survey. In the case of a correlation between the Doppler effect of the received electromagnetic waves and acoustic waves, a decision is made on the detection of an unmanned aerial vehicle, categorized with a low probability of false alarms.
EFFECT: reducing the likelihood of false alarms and the likelihood of missing a target.
