SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine, in particular to vascular surgery, and is intended to predict the progression of atherosclerotic lesions after open interventions on the arteries of the lower extremities. Bcl-2 and sFas proteins are determined in peripheral venous blood by enzyme immunoassay in the first hour after surgery. The probability of predicting the progression of atherosclerosis on the operated limb below the reconstruction zone after 15 months is calculated by the formula P = 1 / (1 + e-Z). At P = 0.9, the progression of atherosclerotic lesions is predicted after open interventions on the arteries of the lower extremities. At P = 0.10, the progression of atherosclerotic lesions is not predicted.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to predict the progression of atherosclerotic lesions on the operated limb below the reconstruction zone after 15 months.
