FIELD: paint manufacturing.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method for obtaining multilayer paint systems by using water-based base coating materials, as well as to multilayer paint systems that can be obtained by the specified method. The method for obtaining the multilayer paint system is carried out by (1) applying pigmented water-based base coating material to a base, (2) forming a polymer film from coating material applied at stage (1), (3) applying coating varnish material to the resulting base coating film and then (4) curing the base coating film together with the coating varnish film. At the same time, at stage (1), water-based base coating material is used, containing: (A) a binder component including polyester with hydroxyl functional groups and additionally including polyurethane with hydroxyl functional groups, (B) a binder component that differs from component (A) and contains (B1), including carbonyl groups of polyurethane poly(meth)acrylate, as well as (B2) organic compound that has at least two hydrazine, hydrazide and/or hydrazone groups, and (C) at least one branched or secondary aliphatic mono-alcohol, which has at least four carbon atoms, where the specified base coating material is passed through a circulation pipeline system during the implementation of the method.

EFFECT: providing a method for obtaining a multilayer paint system using water-based base coating material characterized by resistance to the effect of the circulation pipeline and obtaining paint systems suitable for processing using the circulation pipeline system in industrial coatings, in particular for finishing coating in the car industry.
