FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely medical imaging, and can be used to diagnose skin melanoma. The dielectric properties of a suspicious nevus are studied by the method of near-field microwave sensing. At the same time, melanoma is diagnosed if a decrease in dielectric permittivity of more than 50% relative to the neighboring nevus is detected at three points of a suspicious nevus.
EFFECT: method provides a quick and easy-to-perform diagnosis of skin melanoma by using the method of near-field microwave sensing.
