FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for top-down one-stage synthesis of silicon dioxide nanoparticles from bulk silicon – HR-, N-, P-silicon wafers with reprocessing at a pH≥5 of an aqueous solution by hydrothermal synthesis at a temperature of 297.15 to 453.15 K for 2 to 96 hours of bulk silicon macroparticles into monodisperse silicon dioxide nanoparticles with a possibility of adjusting the average size of the silicon dioxide nanoparticles.
EFFECT: ensured synthesis of silicon dioxide nanoparticles from bulk silicon.
