FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of making thin-film interference coatings used for antireflection of optical elements made from water-soluble crystals. In disclosed method of producing film of antireflection coating for synthesis of organosol, method includes adding to anhydrous isopropyl alcohol (IPA) a calculated amount of ammonia (NH3), a calculated amount of tetraethoxysilane (TEOS) and an amount of ethyl alcohol EtOH (76 vol.%) required for synthesis are added dropwise to the obtained solution at a rate of not more than 0.05 ml/min while intense and continuous mixing on a magnetic stirrer. Solution is then stirred for 5-7 hours, wherein molar ratio of reagents is TEOS:IPA:NH3:EtOH=1:38:3:2. Obtained disperse system is then held in a closed reactor at temperature 20±1 °C for at least 20 days. An antireflection coating film made from the ready organosol is deposited on the surface of a water-soluble crystal by controlled immersion and drawing. Thermal treatment of water-soluble crystal with antireflection coating film is carried out by heating at a rate of not more than 2 °C per hour in dry air thermostat up to 50-150 °C for 72-200 hours.

EFFECT: disclosed method is simple and cheap method of producing antireflection mesoporous coatings based on silica for water-soluble crystals; reducing reflection in the spectral wavelength range of 400-1100 nm by applying an antireflection coating film on water-soluble crystals.
