FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to ophthalmology, and allows the treatment of residual myopia and corneal fibroplasia after photorefractive keratectomy using lenticular extraction through a small access. Biomicroscopy and densitometry are performed using a Pentacam device. If there is no degree of fibroplasia of 1-2 degrees and with a density of back light scattering of the cornea not exceeding 35 units, the patient is restored to visual functions by extraction of the lenticule through a small access.
EFFECT: method provides high functional and stable results without intra- and postoperative complications, while maintaining the biomechanical characteristics of the cornea in the long-term postoperative period due to femtosecond extraction of the corneal lenticle through a small access and assessment of the transparency of the cornea in the preoperative period using densitometry.
