FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to ophthalmology. Comprehensive treatment of residual myopia is performed after small incision lenticule extraction (SMILE). Smile post Smile femtolaser technology is used. In the first day after the surgery, machine-assisted treatment is applied using two appliances. The patient therein undergoes a treatment session with a Mellon appliance using program 16 at the first stage, and a treatment session with a Vitasor apparatus for 235 to 245 seconds, with an average radiation power density from 3.2 to 7.2 mcW/cm2, at the second stage. For patients with reduced functional retinal activity against the background of prolonged optical hypocorrection, a third appliance is additionally used: a Speckle-M apparatus, the machine-assisted treatment continues for 1 to 5 sessions.

EFFECT: method provides a possibility of maintaining the high level of the biomechanical properties of the cornea, ensures minimal rate of injury to the epithelium, and reduces the duration of the rehabilitation period.
