FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to the field of biotechnology. The invention is a method for increasing the efficiency of clonal micro-propagation of evergreen varieties of Rhododendron, including the cultivation of single-node explants, which are parts of micro-shoots containing one axillary bud, on a nutrient medium supplemented with 0.25 microns of TDZ, for 8 weeks, followed by cultivation for 6 weeks on a hormone-free medium.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to significantly increase the reproduction coefficient and the height of shoots.
