METHOD FOR TREATMENT OF PATIENTS WITH CHRONIC LOWER LIMB ISCHEMIA Russian patent published in 2021 - IPC A61M5/00 A61K35/16 A61P9/14

Abstract RU 2759478 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine, namely surgery, vascular surgery and can be used in the treatment of patients with chronic lower limb ischemia, 2B-4, according to Fontaine-Pokrovsky. To do this, a drug containing growth factors is injected into the soft tissues of the lower leg, as which platelet lysate is used in a plasma-free medium obtained from a platelet concentrate with a cell content of at least 1000 kl*109/l and a content of functionally complete cells of at least 38%. The drug is administered at the rate of at least 0.05 ml per 1 cm3 of the ischemic zone with a uniform distribution of the calculated amount in the ischemic zone.

EFFECT: method ensures the formation of tissue blood flow in this category of patients due to an increase in the ischemic tissues of the collateral vessels of the capillary type due to stimulation of vascular and angiogenesis, and also provides an increase in the safety of treatment, due to both the intake of less blood and, accordingly, the absence of the need to replenish it without the risk of a negative effect on the somatic condition of the patient, and the selective use of the drug of minimal volume.
