FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine, and particular to the dental instruments, systems and methods for changing the contour/shape of gum tissue by using a disposable nozzle on a mechanized instrument to remove/ablate excess or deformed gum tissue in order to provide a better overview of the structure of the tooth/implant and reduce periodontal pockets to provide improved cleaning access to both the patient and the doctor. In some embodiments, the mechanized tool may use vibrational motion, longitudinal reciprocating motion, rotational motion, reciprocating rotational motion, or a combination of any of the above-mentioned modes of motion. In some embodiments, the disposable nozzle may be designed to clean the surfaces of the tooth/implant and to change the contour/shape of the gum tissue. The mechanized tool itself can be made with the possibility of directing the flow of cooling water used for work to the area of the irrigation procedure or directing it to another place at the user's choice to facilitate procedures for changing the contour of the gums.

EFFECT: proposed are a new method and devises for removal of dental deposits and rehabilitation of periodontal pockets, as well as ablation of gum tissue for the treatment of periodontitis and peri-implantitis.
