FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: method is proposed for obtaining at least one polyhydroxyalkanoate through gas fermentation and a bioreactor for gas fermentation (options). The method includes filling a gas fermentation vessel with partially filled enzymatic broth with a gas phase, continuous removing aliquot of enzymatic broth from the vessel, feeding gaseous substrate into the vessel, mixing gaseous substrate with enzymatic broth removed from the vessel, cultivating gas fermenting microorganisms with a gas-liquid mixture, extracting polyhydroxyalkanoate from the cell mass. The bioreactor contains a vessel with enzymatic broth and a gas phase, an outlet circulation pipeline, a spray nozzle and a system for supplying gaseous substrate to the gas phase.
EFFECT: inventions provide high performance of cells and polyhydroxyalkanoate.
